What are past participants saying about this programme?
"The Emerging Leaders programme is one of the best professional development experiences I’ve ever had. It was invaluable to have the chance to step away from our desks and think about the bigger picture of leadership and career development. The trainers are very knowledgeable on their subject matter, very approachable and took you on a journey where you confront your feelings, have to reveal yourself and trust in each other. The Programme has a good balance practical and learning with an emphasis on self-awareness and self-improvement, and gave me confidence in the knowledge that leadership has many faces and that leadership never ends" Tommy Scott - Head of Engineering, Survitec
“Completing the Emerging Leaders programme has enabled me to become a more pragmatic and perceptive leader. The programme structure provides a very constructive platform to develop the skills and knowledge to become an effective leader. For myself, before the programme, I was leading a team of engineers and unsure was I maximising our potential. Now however, I am confident in my ability to provide leadership which will not only be beneficial and productive to myself, but also my team and to the company.” Daniel Nolan - Flight Simulator Engineering Manager, Ryanair
"The Emerging Leaders programme was a great course for my needs for moving into a Senior role within the business. The modules were tailored to Leadership development, with each one proving more beneficial than the last. I am now confident in my ability to lead a team through a post-pandemic world. Thanks to everyone involved and my classmates for making this such an enjoyable and educational experience that I know will benefit myself, the company and my team." Rachel Lynch - Supply Chain Manager, CRANE ChemPharma & Energy Flow Solutions
“I would highly recommend the Emerging Leaders programme to anyone in a leadership role. The course is really well structured; each module combines theory with practice, providing training in a number of strategies and tools. The content of the programme was very relevant to my role as a director, and I was able to put the tools into practice immediately with great success. I learned a great deal about my own leadership style and the traits of others, thus empowering me to engage better. I gained experience in tools to develop alignment, negotiation and dialog. The session on coaching was particularly helpful to me and the opportunity to practice really helped embed the techniques discussed. Very relevant to today's climate were the modules on virtual teams and leading through change. The number of attendees was just right to allow us to really get to know and learn from each other and we had an opportunity to hear from some great guest speakers in addition to the fantastic Dr Louise O'Meara!” Bronagh Fletcher - Director, Oracle
